Kevin Spacey Set To Produce And Star In FATHER OF INVENTION Film

Kevin Spacey's Trigger Street Productions is set to produce the independent film Father Of Invention. Spacey will also star in the comedy.

The trade publication reports that film is written by Jonathan Krane and Nichole Beattie and directed by Trent Cooper. The story focuses on a billionaire inventor who loses everything after one of his experiments goes wrong.

Spacey is the artistic director of the Old Vic and has starred in many theater productions including The Iceman Cometh, Ghosts, Long day's Journey Into Night and O'Neill's A Moon for the Misbegotten.

Trigger Street was founded by Spacey in 1997. Film production credits include Beyond the Sea, The Big Kahuna as well as stage productions of The Iceman Cometh and Cobb.
