Eric Stoltz Signs on for MODERN LOVE Pilot

According to Deadline, stage and screen star Eric Stoltz has signed on to star in a pilot for Lifetime entitled, 'Modern Love.' Stoltz will play 'newspaper science editor Simon McElvane as he faces a deteriorating marriage, the ramifications of potentially starting over and balancing his relationship with his adopted 15-year-old daughter.'

Stoltz received a Tony nomination for his performance in OUR TOWN. Other Broadway credits include THREE SISTERS, TWO SHAKSPEAREAN ACTROS, and ARMS AND THE MAN. His off-Broadway credits include THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, THE GLASS MENAGERIE, and SLY FOX.

He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for "Mask" and currently stars in the science fiction television series "Caprica." Other film and television credits include "Pulp Fiction," "Say Anything," "Mad About You," and "Chicago Hope."
