EW reports that CBS's LATE LATE SHOW has lined up an A-list roster of celebrities who will take a ride with host James Corden in upcoming episodes of the late night talk show.

According to the report, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will appear in a "road-trip themed installment" of the show's popular feature 'Carpool Karaoke'. The episode will air during the week of February 1st.

"It's more of a road trip than it is a Carpool in many ways," Corden tells EW. "I'm such a fan of his. I'm a fan of that band - they mean the world to me. It was very funny. He brought a keyboard over, and it involved an overnight stay. It was fun."

Added Late Late Show executive producer Ben Winston, "Usually James gets a lift to work, but this time we thought because Chris was playing the SUPER BOWL halftime, he was actually in need of a lift this time." He went on to reveal that during the segment, the duo will pay tribute to iconic rocker David Bowie, who passed away on January 10th. "We did a really beautiful tribute to David Bowie," he says, "and that was really lovely."

In addition, Sir Elton John has signed on for an appearance on "Carpool Karaoke". The segment will air during Corden's post-Super Bowl show.

Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show.
