Based on the play of the same name by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Obie Award-winning playwright Christopher Shinn, first-time Director Joshua Sanchez's award-winning drama FOUR debuts across all digital platforms beginning December 17th before landing on DVD today, January 14th 2014, from Wolfe Video.

The film stars 2013 Independent Spirit Award Best Actor nominee Wendell Pierce (HBO's "The Wire," "Treme") as Joe, a middle-aged, married man who goes on a date with a young man (Emory Cohen from NBC's "Smash") he met on the internet. Aja Naomi King (Damsels in Distress, TV's "Emily Owens, M.D.") and Daytime Emmy Award nominee E.J. Bonilla (TV's "The Guiding Light," "Revenge") round out the cast. Bonus materials include a behind the scenes featurette and film commentary by the cast and crew.

FOUR has received much acclaim on the film festival circuit, including the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival, where the film's four stars jointly won the festival's acting award; the 2012 Urbanworld Film Festival where the film took home the award for Best Narrative Film; and the 2012 New Orleans Film Festival where it received Honorable Mention in the Narrative Feature Category.

SYNOPSIS:
A steamy July 4th night brings four people together in two tales of seduction and conflicted desire. Joe (Wendell Pierce) is a black, middle-aged, married man out on date with June (Emory Cohen), a young white man he met on the Internet. Abigayle (Aja Naomi King) is Joe's precocious daughter, out herself with a hot, wisecracking Latino basketball player named Dexter (E.J. Bonilla). As the two couples get to know each other intimately, their realities are tested and the outcome is bracing.
