Aretha Franklin Documentary, VICE, Among Berlin International Film Festival Lineup

The programmes for the Competition and Berlinale Special sections at the 69th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival have been finalised.

In the Competition, 17 of a total of 23 selected films will be vying for the Golden Bear and Silver Bears. All in all, 25 different countries were involved in the making of the productions and co-productions (see the country list at the end of the press release for a detailed overview). 20 of the films will be celebrating their world premiere at the festival.
