Arts in the Armed Forces (AITAF) is proud to present our 5th Annual Veterans Day Performance on Broadway honoring the United States Armed Forces on Monday, November 11th at 7pm.

This year's 90-minute performance will be at The Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre and will feature some of the acting industry's brightest stars reading monologues and scenes from America's best modern plays, including Emmy nominees Adam Driver (Girls, Lincoln) and David Schwimmer (Friends, Madagascar), among many others. The show is no-production and consists of 12-15 actors and a musical guest all reading their pieces and watching their colleagues' work from a semi-circle of chairs on stage.

The performance is FREE to all military and their families and $25 for civilians, though the majority of the 700-seat audience will be comprised of veterans and active duty service members, many of whom will be stepping foot into a Broadway house for the first time. Immediately following the show, AITAF will host a VIP reception from 8:30-10:30pm for $500 where guests can mingle with actors from the show while enjoying cocktails and canapes in the American Airlines Theatre Penthouse, as well as have the opportunity to create a video that AITAF will bring to troops stationed overseas this December.

All proceeds from the performance and reception will benefit AITAF's holiday tour abroad when they will deploy the performance to 3 US military bases in Germany - one Air Force base and 2 hospitals - serving 500 wounded warriors and their caregivers. All of the AITAF staff and the actors partaking will eat and sleep on base for the duration of their trip.
