The great sociological experiment known as GRAN HERMANO (Big Brother) begins this coming Sunday, January 10 at 8pm/7c, when host Giselle Blondet introduces the 14 housemates selected to live in a hermetically sealed house with more than 40 cameras and 90 microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day for three months. The seven women and seven men will be completely cut off from the outside world, with no access to cell phones, television, friends or family, focusing their emotions on the love, hatred, friendships, tensions and disputes that unfold inside the house. Each week, the participants will nominate each other, but ultimately the viewing audience decides who leaves the show, until only one person is left to take home the $250,000 grand prize. Telemundo will feature extensive "Gran Hermano" programming all week long, including:

"Gala de Expulsion" (Expulsion Galas - Sundays at 8pm/7c) - Giselle Blondet will review the week's best moments on "Gran Hermano," including the most compelling storylines and the last moments of the nominated participants. The host will lead a debate between previously evicted house guests, the relatives and friends of the nominees of the night, and connect with the house directly to inform the remaining participants of the results of the voting audience and announce who leaves the house.
"Nominaciones" (Nominations - Wednesdays at 7pm/6c) - From the studio adjoining the house, Giselle will review the highlights of the week inside the house, focusing on the housemates nominated for the week.

"Gran Hermano: La Novela" (Gran Hermano: The Novela - Weeknights at 12am/11pm CT) - This daily show will summarize key developments inside the house every 24 hours. The focus will be on intimate aspects of the housemates' close quarters, such as budding romances and animosities, as well as individual behaviors.

Telemundo.com/GranHermano (24 hours a day) - Visitors to the website will have exclusive access to all of the action inside the house 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with the ability to follow the participants from the moment they wake up to the time they go to sleep at night.

"Gran Hermano," produced by Endemol Shine Latino, the Hispanic division of Endemol Shine North America, and licensed exclusively to TELEMUNDO, is based on the international hit television format Big Brother, the original reality show, which debuted in Holland in 1999. Since then, the Big Brother format has been produced in 41 countries, broadcast in over 110, and watched by more than 2 billion viewers around the world.
