The Merola Opera Program, the affiliated training program of the San Francisco Opera, invites rising junior and senior high school and college students to apply for the Merola Student ConneXion Program, where they could receive a complimentary membership to attend Merola summer performances and events.

Up to 40 Northern California student members will be selected. Deadline to apply is Monday, May 4th. Application and information may be found by clicking here or visiting www.Merola.org.

Each ConneXion participant receives two complimentary tickets to attend Merola events, master classes and productions this June, July and August at venues in San Francisco (San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Cowell Theater in Fort Mason and the War Memorial Opera House).

The Merola Student ConneXion Program only provides tickets to Merola events and does not offer vocal training or artistic studies.

For 58 years, the Merola Opera Program has been regarded as the foremost opera training program for aspiring singers, coaches and stage directors. As the affiliated training program of the San Francisco Opera, Merola has served as a proving ground for hundreds of artists, including such renowned opera performers as Anna Netrebko, Patricia Racette, Ruth Ann Swenson, Thomas Hampson, Deborah Voigt, Joyce DiDonato and Susan Graham among others.
