Today, What If Records recording artist Eric Zayne released his debut single, Maneater, on iTunes. The song is his first to be available for download on iTunes and is part of an upcoming eight song EP that will release later this year.

Maneater brings an eclectic sound of Pop and Jazz with an instrumental touch that perfectly introduces Zayne as an artist. The song was written and produced by Zayne with the enlisted help of engineer Sadaharu Yagi (Shakira, Marc Anthony), Grammy Award Winning mixer Jason Schweitzer, drummer Chaun Horton (Natasha Bedingfield), bassist Eric Ingram (Lil Wayne), guitarist Yohei Nakamura and trumpeter Sean Erick (Justin Timberlake).

Zayne has also previously worked with industry veterans and musicians including bassist Jae Deal (Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga), guitarist Brady Cohan (American Idol band) and such acts as Matisyahu, Dragonette, The Stereos, and Ace of Base.

Born in Montreal and raised in Congo, Eric Zayne was first introduced to music by his father who enrolled him in piano lessons and his brother, a house party DJ, who influenced him to a wide range of musical styles from Funk to Electronic including: Prince, The Beatles and Madonna.
