This past weekend, WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand celebrated its anticipated Grand Opening weekend as sun-kissed partygoers flocked to the ultra pool and danced all weekend long to the beats of Dada Life and Calvin Harris.

Kicking off the festivities was one half of the Swedish DJ duo Dada Life as he took over the daylife destination Saturday, April 5. Bringing the rules of Dada to the 2014 pool season, the energetic turntable master made his way to the DJ booth around 3 p.m. as WET REPUBLIC's stunning staff paraded around the pool decks holding oversized inflatable bananas and champagne bottles high above their heads. As the bass dropped and Olle Corneer began his set, the gorgeous staff launched the pool swag into the air and the energy of the hot spot reached an all-time high. WET REPUBLIC was a sight to see as poolgoers kept the party going into the early hours of the evening.

As the celebration continued, international DJ sensation Calvin Harris headed to the "It" daytime party Sunday, April 6 and put on an unrivaled set for thousands of bikini-clad patrons. The GRAMMY Award-winning artist had the venue in full party mode as he played his chart-topping hits including the debut of his most recent single "Summer," for the masses. Closing down the action-packed weekend, Harris kept the party going and as the sun set the renowned superstar thanked his fans and made his way out of the daylife destination.
