The xx performed on "Saturday Night Live" this past Saturday, November 19. Watch the television performance debut of their new single "On Hold" HERE.

"On Hold," which was released earlier this month, is currently #1 on Spotify's Global Viral Chart with over 4.3 million streams worldwide. Stream or download the track HERE. The band's highly anticipated third album, I See You, is set for release January 13, 2017 via Young Turks.
In addition, The xx have confirmed details of a 2017 U.K. and European tour. The I See You Tour, which begins February 8 in Stockholm, Sweden, will also include three hometown shows at London's Brixton Academy March 8-10. Pre-sale tickets for the new dates go on-sale Tuesday, November 22 at 10AM GMT. Sign up at thexx.info to get access to the artist pre-sale - ONLY available through the band's email list. Public on-sale begins Friday, November 25 at 10AM GMT. All tickets available at thexx.info
I See You marks a new era for the London trio of Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, both sonically and in terms of process. For while xx and Coexist were both made in relative isolation in London, I See You was recorded between March 2014 and August 2016 in New York, Marfa TX, Reykjavik, Los Angeles and London, and is characterized by a more outward-looking, open and expansive approach. Produced by Jamie Smith and Rodaidh McDonald, I See You is The xx at their boldest yet, performing with more clarity and ambition than ever before.
