The Warner Theatre will present the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra in the main theatre Sunday, October 2 at 2:00 pm. Tickets go on sale to Warner Theatre Members Tuesday, August 9 and to the General Public Friday, August 12.

The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra is recognized as one of the best all-around dance bands in Big Band history. Known as, "The Sentimental Gentleman of Swing", Dorsey was a master at creating warm, sentimental, and always musical moods. With vocalist Frank Sinatra, the band recorded their biggest hit of all - "I'll Never Smile Again," the most successful and best-known version of the song. Frank Sinatra's career blossomed with Dorsey, and, with Sinatra's vocals, the band became more successful than ever.

The music world lost Tommy at an early age, but his legacy of great music has transcended time. The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra repertoire continues to entertain audiences of all ages throughout the world and represents explosive and swinging Big Band entertainment at its best.
