Representing the gumbo pot of America and on their way to taking the music industry by storm, the young, fresh and edgy pop-rock group The Sledge Grits Band is composed of 4 sisters: 10 year-old drummer bo-Pah, 13 year-old lead vocalist Mimi, 16 year-old bass player, backup vocalist Ella, and 18 year-old lead guitarist and songwriter Keiko. Between this multi-talented sister band, they write, sing, play and perform all of their own music.

Hailing from Littlerock, CA and preparing to call Los Angeles their home soon, The Sledge Grits Band fuses a fabulousness of pop-rock flair into their all-original music. Being of Japanese, French, German, Irish, Native American, and African American descent, these gorgeous, multicultural and relatable sisters are unlike anything the industry has ever seen or heard.

Currently featured on NBC affiliate Cozi TV's "Next Great Family Band," The Sledge Grits Band sang one of their many original songs, a momentous, uplifting anthem titled "Gonna Be Alright." This exemplary and celebrated pop-rock song about facing your fears, loving yourself no matter what, and support from family and friends is symbolical of The Sledge Grits Band's catchy tunes and memorable lyrics. After their performance, judge Samantha Malone said she is "kind of obsessed" with the quartet and insists "The Sledge Grits Band is going places," while judge Phoenix Stone exclaimed, "Right now, the music industry needs a young female band like this."

Giving The Sledge Grits Band even more industry credibility, Daisy Rock Guitars has endorsed Keiko and Ella for their bass and lead guitars. Tish Ciravolo, Founder and President of Daisy Rock Guitars says, "Keiko holds, cradles and wields a guitar with so much authority, passion and conviction, you totally forget that she is a teenager. While her teenage sister, Ella effortlessly storms in her own pocket with a solid bass line that you will feel in your soul. Unbelievable and beguiling in two such beautiful sisters, both Keiko and Ella epitomize what Daisy Rock Girl Guitars stands for. These sisters are in total command of their muse."

After catching a performance of the Sledge Grits Band World renowned vocal coach Nicholas Cooper had this to say: "Sometimes you run across a rare gem that redeems the value of what seemingly has lost its luster----Mimi is just that! A brilliant find....certain to lead the industry into its bright new future. One listen was enough to confirm the group's destiny among halls of our greatest creators!"

Nick is currently the vocal coach for American Idol and has worked with some of the top names in the music industry including Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Mary Mary, Keyshia Cole, David Archuleta, Nicki Minaj, Ciara and many more.

Adding to the solidity, Sledge Grits drummer bo-Pah is endorsed by Evamar for her hi-shaker, and her drum instructor is the incredibly talented drummer for rock band Suicidal Tendencies, Eric Moore. He says, "bo-Pah is a force to be reckoned with! At 10 years old, her playing is already bigger than she is! The Sledge Grits Band is one of the most beautifully talented sister acts that I have ever witnessed!"
