Songwriter Raquel Aurilia Kicks Off New Year with New Single “Show Me” - Singer-songwriter Releasing Original Music from Nashville Recording Sessions

Singer-songwriter Raquel Aurilia kicks off the New Year with new original music for 2019 from her Nashville sessions. Aurilia announced today the release of her new single "Show Me" - an original song from her Nashville sessions with Producer Michael Lattanzi. "Show Me" is now available on iTunes & Spotify. "I'm so thrilled to release my new single 'Show Me'," says Raquel Aurilia. "It's a song about vulnerability and getting to know the real authentic side of someone you care about. Peeling away the façade and getting into their heart."

Raquel co-wrote "Show Me" with Producer / Engineer Michael Lattanzi collaborating recording and mastering the song at the exclusive Lattitude Studio South in Leiper's Fork in the Greater Nashville area. Watch video clip of Raquel talking about the impact of music here.

Raquel has followed her passion of songwriting and performing with incredible highlights including touring opening 25 cities for John Waite. Aurilia has also opened for B.B. King, Gin Blossoms, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Lisa Loeb, Eddie Money, Pat Benatar, and Riders in the Sky.

Aurilia's songwriting journey has taken her to some incredible experiences and noteworthy accolades. From the beginning with her debut record, FINDING MY WAY, Aurilia scored a hit single, "Feels Like" that cracked the ultra-competitive R&R Top 30 AC and Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary charts landing at #28. The song continues to receive national airplay. In 2017, Aurilia was honored as a Hollywood Music in Media Award nominee for singer-songwriter. Raquel has had a strong connection with her music and the television media. Her music has been featured on MTV's hit TV shows "The Hills," "The City" and "Taking the Stage."

Aurilia has also worked with Grammy Award winning producer Tony Papa (James Brown, Willie Nelson, John Denver) and Gardner Cole (Madonna, Jodi Whatley), as well as Grammy nominated producer Billy Smiley (Bebe and Cece Winans, Vince Gill, Johnny Cash) in both Scottsdale and Nashville.
