Shawn Mendes Sets Madison Square Garden Show for This Fall

The Madison Square Garden Company and Messina Touring Group announced today that singer-songwriter and multi-platinum recording artist Shawn Mendes will take the Madison Square Garden stage as part of the Time Warner Cable Concert Series on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in support of his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Illuminate. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 16 at 10am EST.

Shawn Mendes will give fans an exclusive preview of his new album for the first time at this special headlining show at Madison Square Garden with the Illuminate Live Concert & Album Event. Mendes' much anticipated record, Illuminate, will be released September 23, 2016 via Island Records. The album, featuring current hit single "Treat You Better," is available for pre-order now at shawnmendesofficial.com and will be available for pre-order via iTunes on Friday, July 8.

The hit single from the album, "Treat You Better" debuted at #1 immediately upon release via iTunes in 26 countries and is already Top 20 on pop radio as it enters Top 10 on the Spotify Global 50 chart and Top 20 on the Shazam Global chart. The New York Times praised the single as a "song that highlights [Shawn's] maturity" and Billboard declared it a "perfect-for-summer track."

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday July 16th at 10am EST via tickemaster.com, charge by phone (1-866-858-0008) and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets will also be available at the Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall box offices beginning on Sunday July 17th at 10am. Ticket prices for Shawn Mendes at Madison Square Garden are $47.50 and $67.50 and there is a four ticket limit per order.
