Brooklyn based garage rock trio Sharkmuffin is made up of Tarra Theissen (vocals/guitar) and Natalie Kirch (vocals/bass). Together, they create super-heavy, jagged, and exceedingly catchy punk rock, which Consequence of Sound states, "As their name implies, this is a vicious band with plenty of teeth." Their debut full-length album, Chartreuse, will be released next week on August 7 via State Capital/Little Dickman Records. However, you can stream the album now on Consequence of Sound.
The album features drumming from Patty Schemel (Upset, Death Valley Girls, Hole) and marks a whole new era in their style of music. The noise-punk-meets-psychedelic power pop group has evolved their sound on the new album, and the result is a full length filled with commanding hits.Videos
