Safia Reveal Twisted Video For FREAKIN' OUT

Today SAFIA reveal the twisted visual accompaniment for their single 'Freakin' Out.

Harnessing the literal interpretations of the track's lyrics yet with a slightly twisted bend, the video portrays an expedition into an anxiety-riddled mind. Following their debut single 'Listen to Soul, Listen to Blues,' the off-kilter vibrant visuals mark only the second time the 3-piece have appeared in one of their music videos. The 'Freakin' Out' visual translation follows wide national airplay of the single, as well as packed crowds for their sets at Mountain Sounds and Let Go Festivals in Australia.

Previous single 'Cellophane Rainbow' is sitting at 1.5 million streams since its release at the end of 2017 and was the first piece of new music from the band since their acclaimed debut album Internal was released in 2016. Internal landed at #2 on the ARIA Album chart, #1 on the iTunes chart, received ARIA and J Award nominations and saw the band complete a sold-out run of national album shows

2017 saw them perform to capacity crowds on the Listen Out tour, a headline spot on the Yours and Owls line up and a slot on the inaugural OH YES festival amongst others. In addition to performing headline shows in the UK, US and Europe as well as appearing at The Great Escape and SXSW, the band have toured extensively in Australia including shows at Splendour in the Grass, Groovin The Moo, Falls Festival, Beyond the Valley, Field Day, Big Pineapple and Curve Ball.
