"This One's for the Girls"... and the guys... well, everyone who's ever heard country super star Martina McBride. Named "Female Vocalist of the Year" four times by the Country Music Association, this powerhouse singer graces the St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights concert series on Thursday, July 3. The vocal fireworks begin at 7 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.) at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. General Admission tickets go on sale Thursday May 1, 2014. Reserved seating tickets are available for purchase by Park City Institute members on May 1; remaining reserved seating tickets go on sale to the general public on May 8.

"We were waiting for the just right performer for 'Independence Day' and we were glad we did," says PCI executive director Teri Orr. "Whether Ms. McBride is performing one of her country hits or a soulful version of an iconic blues tune, she rocks with compassion and heart."

McBride comes to Park City hot off the release of her newest "dazzling" (Country Weekly) album, "Everlasting," which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart; she is the first solo female artist to achieve this feat with an independently released and distributed album in the chart's 50-year history. Though her latest album ventures into soul - iconic tunes such as "If You Don't Know Me By Now" - McBride is best known for her dominance in the contemporary country arena.

"One of the biggest and most healing voices in Nashville," according to a New York Times reviewer, McBride sings with both power and grace. From tunes that raise awareness about domestic violence, such as "Independence Day," to "Wild Angels," she has shaken up the country music world with a startlingly beautiful voice and an ability to sing about things that matter.

McBride has sold more than 18 million albums, including 20 Top 10 singles and six No.1 hits. In addition to her four-time win of CMA's "Female Vocalist of the Year," she's been named "Top Female Vocalist" thrice by the Academy of Country Music, received 14 Grammy nominations as well as induction into the Grand Ole Opry.

All St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights concerts take place at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater.
