After five decades of touring, the Irish Rovers are giving us one last tour packed with that Irish charm and wit that has captivated audiences since 1964. Appearing at the Van Wezel stage on February 13, 2014, they will perform their 'Farewell to Rovin'.

"Throughout the years, these international ambassadors of Irish music have maintained their timeless ability to deliver a rollicking, rousing performance of good cheer- one that will soon have you singing and clapping along. Their songs have become anthems of revelry and joy among generation after generation of fans." -Belfast Telegraph

With banjos, flutes and guitars the Rovers will have you entranced with their jaunty Celtic melodies. These cherished music icons have touched three generations of music lovers, and brought Ireland into North American living rooms with their three television series that spanned over twenty years.

The Irish/ Canadian folk group became Canadian citizens after Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau, requested them too. In doing so they could officially represent Canada, and by 1989 they had represented Canada at five world Expos.

Longevity and success has given the Irish lads a magical journey. Recent YouTube videos of the groups Drunken Sailor recording saw over 10,000,000 hits, securing their newest generation of fans. Whether a recent or seasoned fan, this is your last chance to see the spirited Irish Rovers perform live at the Van Wezel!

Tickets are priced from $30-$50. For more information, call the Box Office at 941-953-3368 or visit www.VanWezel.org.
