It is with great regret that Dickey Betts and Great Southern have canceled their concert at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center scheduled for Saturday, May 30.

Following the passing of his brother, Betts has decided to take time off from touring for personal reasons.

Betts' management posted a touring update on his website, stating:

"This has been a very tough year so far for Dickey Betts. At Christmas time his brother was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. A few weeks ago he passed away. Dickey and Joel were very close, in fact sharing the same birthday. Dickey has decided to discontinue touring until further notice."

WHBPAC does not expect to reschedule the show for a future date. The Box Office will contact all ticket holders with a refund. WHBPAC apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
