Former lead member of the Talking Heads (and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee), David Byrne, has joined forces with guitar maven St. Vincent (also known as Annie Clark) for Love this Giant, an album three years in the making that Paste magazine describes as "a deeply weird and deeply lovely record." The pair will play Whitney Hall on Tuesday, July 2, 7:30 p.m.

Curious, mutually appreciative acquaintances became determined co-conspirators, and the result is Love this Giant, an album that's brash and, quite literally, brassy. Byrne and Clark spin their intriguingly enigmatic tales, by turns whimsical and dark, backed by a large brass band in lieu of a traditional rock lineup.

Tickets start at $35, reserved seating, fees apply. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m. Kentucky Center Members call the Member hotline at 502-562-0144. Standard tickets available at www.kentuckycenter.org/presents, by phone (502-584-7777, 800-775-7777), and in-person at The Kentucky Center box office and drive-thru.
