The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival's 18th season continues on June 19th at 7:30 pm with a performance of the Schubert Trout Quintet and chamber music by Gaubert, Mahler, and Schulhoff. The concert, which will be held in the ballroom of the Otesaga, features Linda Chesis, flute; Mikhail Kopelman, violin; Anat Almani, viola; Jerry Grossman, cello; Jeremy McCoy, bass; and Elizaveta Kopelman, piano.

Violinist Mikhail Kopelman was the renowned leader of the Borodin Quartet for 20 years, and also served as first violinist for the Toyko String Quartet. He now performs with the Kopelman Quartet, which he founded in 2002. A winner of the Royal Philharmonic Society Award and the Concertgebouw Silver Medal of Honour, he also was named People's Artist of the Russian Federation.

Anat Malkin Almani, viola, made her Carnegie Hall debut at 16 under the baton of Alexander Schneider. Additional performances, both with orchestra and in recital, have taken her throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia. Ms. Almani performs in festivals around the world, and is a member of the Malkin Duo.

Jerry Grossman has been principal cellist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 1986. He has appeared in recital, and with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the United States. A long association with the Marlboro Music Festival, including numerous 'Music from Marlboro' tours and recordings, figures prominently in Mr. Grossman's chamber music experience.

Elizaveta Kopelman has appeared as a soloist throughout Europe, the United States, and South America. Together with violinist Alina Komissarova and cellist Roberto Trainini, she formed the Anton Rubinstein Trio, that received much critical acclaim during their debut tour of Italy. She also performs regularly with her father, violinist Mikhail Kopelman.

Jeremy McCoy is assistant principal double bass with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He was a founding member of Sequitur and Ensemble Sospeso, and also had played on dozens of film and television soundtracks and recorded with a diverse group of pop artists. His recordings "Dialogues with Double Bass" and "Baroque Legacy" have garnered critical acclaim.

Flutist Linda Chesis is founder and artistic director of the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival. She is a member of the flute faculty and chair of the Woodwind Department at the Manhattan School of Music. She has been hailed by critics on three continents as one of the most exciting and dynamic flutists of her generation. The top prize winner at the Paris and Barcelona International competitions, and at the National Flute Association Competition, Ms. Chesis has performed with orchestras and in solo recitals throughout the US, France, Great Britain, Germany, Japan and Korea.

The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival continues with four concerts in August, one in September and one in October.
