People reports that international megastar Céline Dion has postponed her upcoming Las Vegas Residency as well as her scheduled tour in Asia due to her husband's ongoing medical issues.

According to the report, Dion's husband, René Angélil, had a tumor removed from his throat last December. In an exclusive statement to People, the singer shared that the ongoing health crisis has resulted in "a very difficult and stressful time."

She continues, "I want to devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband's healing, and to do so, it's important for me to dedicate this time to him and to our children," Dion tells PEOPLE. "I also want to apologize to all my fans everywhere, for inconveniencing them, and I thank them so much for their love and support."

The 46-year-old entertainer has been facing health issues of her own, including inflammation in her throat muscles, which caused her to cancel performances at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace since July 29th.

BWW wishes both Celine and Rene good health and a quick recovery.
