Say So, the third album by Bent Knee, is receiving unanimous critical acclaim from rock critics and music journalists worldwide. Released on Cuneiform just last Friday, the album is rapidly gaining a significant alt-rock following, with the first physical run of the album selling out before release date and a second pressing now in production.

The Wall Street Journal's Jim Fusilli, one of the nation's most revered rock critics, spoke to Bent Knee about the making of Say So. It published a major piece that combines interviews with front-woman Courtney Swain and violinist Chris Baum, and a review, which you can read and share HERE.

Say So epitomizes Bent Knee's unyielding determination to explores the edges of adventurous songcraft and exhilarating arrangements full of spellbinding and unexpected moments. It's rock that bridges the familiar and nomadic with thrilling results.

The band has performed hundreds of shows across the North America and Japan, including a recent showcase at Lincoln Center, and is about to embark on its 2016 North American and European tour. Since its inception, Bent Knee has remained true to the incredible spectrum of its diverse musical personalities. Swain's riveting vocals lead the way through often dark lyrical themes, while guitar virtuoso Ben Levin shifts seamlessly from melodic riffs to extreme dissonance, often at a moment's notice. Bassist Jessica Kion and drummer Gavin Wallace-Ailsworth contribute deep grooves, full of unexpected accents and ornamentation that glue the boundary-pushing work together. Violinist Chris Baum soars atop and through the material, further expanding the group's sonic palette, and producer/sound designer Vince Welch combines it all with
understated brilliance.
