Andrew Hung Shares New Single 'Elbow' from Debut Solo LP

Hung explains that: "Once when I was a small child and wanted to get a fake nose-ring from this sty shopping-centre stall in Kidderminster but being young, I was really afraid of buying it. Consequently I stood there for a long while trying to pluck up the courage to get said fake nose-ring before the woman came out from behind the stall and told me to f off. I went home crying... Elbow is about pushing buttons. As for the stall, when my sister found out, she took me back and gave the woman a right bollocking."
Both this new track and Realisationship find Hung moving on from his electronic explorations, venturing towards a punk-tinged, spiky, lo-fi sound. In a career-first, in addition to writing and producing, Hung also sings throughout the record.

Hung has consistently carved out his own distinct path - as one half of f Buttons he's toured globally and headlined Glastonbury's Park Stage, had two tracks featured in Danny Boyle's Olympic opening ceremony and released three albums of thrilling, noisy electronic music. Outside of the duo, previous solo projects include his Rave Cave EPs created using a Nintendo Game Boy, the soundtrack for cult indie film The Greasy Strangler, plus co-writing and producing Beth Orton's 2016 album, Kidsticks.

In support of Realisationship, Hung is hitting the road for his first solo UK headline tour in November - the dates are preceded by two warm up in-store shows.
