New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with a collection of stellar artists gathers for the spirited premiere ofAdegoke Steve Colson's jazz-flavored tribute, commissioned by NJPAC in honor of Newark's 350th anniversary.

Adegoke Steve Colson is a GRAMMY® nominee known for his imaginative work. This New Jersey native has performed internationally as a leader of ensembles ranging from trios to orchestras.

Expect an uplifting experience as this award-winning composer assembles an impressive combination of artists, including the North Jersey Philharmonic Glee Club, harpistRobbin Gordon-Cartier, pianist Philip Field and oboist Oscar Petty, performing with a brilliant jazz lineup: Nabaté Isles (trumpet), Mark Helias (bass), Bradford Hayes(baritone sax), Pheeroan akLaff (drums) and Kelvyn Bell (guitar).
