Nick Jonas Performs New Song 'Levels' at MTV VMA Pre-Show Tonight

Pop culture and style icon Kelly Osbourne will host the hour-long 2015 "MTV VMA Red Carpet" live pre-show alongside MTV's own Sway and "Girl Code Live" stars, Carly Aquilino, Nessa Diab and Nora "Awkwafina" Lum tonight, August 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT leading into the VMAs at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Nick Jonas is set to turn up the party with a first-time-ever, headlining rendition of his brand-new song, "Levels," and WALK THE MOON will kick off the pre-show with a highly-anticipated performance of their VMA-nominated smash, "Shut Up and Dance." Fans can also look forward to a first look sneak of the 'Levels' video during the pre-show. The pre-show headliner performance is presented by State Farm®.

"I'm thrilled to showcase my new single, 'Levels' at such an incredible night in music," said Nick Jonas. "There's nothing like playing new songs live for the first time and I can't wait to surprise my fans during this performance."

Adding to the red carpet extravaganza, social media superstar TODRICK Hall from MTV's new series, "Todrick," will perform customized tributes for all of the "Video of the Year" nominees. And, to top it off, fans are sure to get a total case of the "feels" when they catch the red carpet puppies that'll be sporting some of the most iconic looks from past VMA attendees. That's right, live puppies in cute outfits!

Island Records Artist, Nick Jonas introduced himself as a fully formed solo artist on his hit self-titled debut, released in November 2014. The critically acclaimed album includes double-platinum smash single and #1 U.S. radio hit, "Jealous" and his sultry second chart-climbing U.S. radio single, "Chains." This fall, Jonas will embark on the NICK JONAS "LIVE IN CONCERT" TOUR, which kicks off September 6 in Hershey, PA. The tour will feature special guest Bebe Rexha and make stops in 19 cities across the U.S. and Canada with dates in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco.

Chart topping alt pop rockers WALK THE MOON are nominated for their first VMA (Best Rock Video) for their smash single "Shut Up And Dance" off their album TALKING IS HARD which was released last December on RCA Records. Their triple platinum hit "Shut Up and Dance" was dubbed an 'infectious anthem' by Entertainment Weekly and hit #1 at multiple radio formats. Their newest single "Different Colors" recently hit Top 15 at alternative rock radio and is growing rapidly.

The 2015 "MTV Video Music Awards" will air across MTV's global network of channels in more than 160 countries and territories, reaching more than half a billion households around the world.
