On February 26 at 7:00 PM, Molotov Theatre Group will host the first in a series of free classic horror movie screenings. The inaugural screening will be the classic Vincent Price horror movie "The House on Haunted Hill," which will be shown upstairs at Johnny Pistola's in Adams Morgan (2333 18th Street, NW).

The event is free with a suggested donation at the door of $20.

Immediately before the screening, Molotov will host the worst idea ever for a fundraiser (what else would you expect from Molotov Theatre Group?). Molotov founder Alex Zavistovich and company member Yoni Gray will eat a Carolina Reaper Pepper (at 2.2 million on the Scoville Scale, twice as hot as a ghost pepper). Patrons can donate to extend the amount of time the not-too-bright participants must go without relief - up to 20 minutes, depending on the funds raised. When the threshold goal is met, the participants will eat a SECOND Carolina Reaper Pepper, without relief.

Alex and Yoni - and anyone else who might want to participate in this VERY bad idea - will also be made to do other challenges (tongue twisters, etc.), during the time they're enduring the heat of the Reaper, just to add to the misery.
