Kelsey Grammer Signs on for THE EXPENDABLES 3

Kelsey Grammer is nearing a deal to play the role of Bonaparte in the upcoming "The Expendables 3." According to Deadline, the role, which had been rumored to be played by Nicholas Cage, is an ex-mercenary who helps the Expendables in their mission.

This casting is in keeping with a string of Grammer's recent "tough guy" roles which include a vicious powerbroker in Starz recently cancelled "Boss" and portraying the villain in the upcoming film, "Transformers: Age Of Extinction."

Starring alongside Grammer in the "Expendables 3" will be previously Sly Stallone, Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Wesley Snipes.
