Josh Gad Joins 'Thanks for Sharing' Opposite Gwyneth Paltrow

It's a busy year for Tony nominee Josh Gad, who has joined the cast of the upcoming movie Thanks for Sharing. He joins Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins.

According to a report from Variety, Gad "will play Neil, an unrestrained sex addict with a strong appetite. He cheats his way through recovery programs until Mark Ruffalo's character becomes his sponsor and helps straighten him out."

Gad previously appeared on Broad­way in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He also serves as a correspondent on "The Daily Show With John Stewart," and has appeared in films such as 21, The Rocker and Love and Other Drugs as well as TV's "Back to You," "Californication," and "Numb3rs." He's set to pen a series for NBC as well.
