According to Hollywood.com , filmmaker Ned Benson will be writing and directing two connected films, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Hers, which when shown together, will tell the tale of a troubled marriage from both the husband and wife's point of views. Actors Jessica Chastain and Joel Edgerton will portray the roles of the married couple. Each film will act as 'stand-alone' pieces.

Both films will center on the strained married couple who must deal with pressure from the husband's restaurant business and the wife's decision to return to a career in academia. Each film will have a different perspective on the situation.

In 2009 Edgerton starred alongside Cate Blanchett as Stanley in the Sydney Theatre Company's acclaimed production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Edgerton and Blanchett also appeared in a production of this play at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music in December 2009.

Jessica Chastain will make her Broadway debut in an upcoming revival of Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz's play 'The Heiress'. She recently received an Oscar nomination for her performance in 'The Help'.
