Actors and actresses who have always wanted to see what being in a fight scene would be like, can now try out classes at Cinematic Fight Studio. They are offering a three day basic film and weapon combat class through LivingSocial.

Cinematic Fight Studio is a company that specializes in choreographing fight scenes for film and video as well as training actors and actresses how to fight on screen, making their fighting ability look realistic when filmed. With this offer, actors and actresses can learn how to screen fight in films from Lang Yip, a fight choreographer with more than 20 years of martial arts experience under his belt. For $60 ($170 value) the program includes a 2 hour film combat class on the first day, which teaches how to throw punches and kicks as well as react to them being thrown at you all without physically getting hurt. You will also learn basic falls and cheats for falling. The second day is weapon film combat for an hour, which participants will learn how to wield a knife and react to it on film. On the second hour participants will be creating a fight scene to rehearse. Finally on day three they will use what they learned and have a short test fight scene shot for them and receive a copy of the footage.
