Weekends are so much fun in terms of TV viewing. There's not much original programming on (although we will have a recap of tonight's DOCTOR WHO shortly after it airs), so the schedule is generally made up of movies, alternative programming, and sports; and we have a little of each tonight. So, whether you are ready for trick-or-treating, or for some football, tonight's "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks have got you covered. So, what will you be watching tonight?

BWW TV World will bring you a handful of picks from across the TV landscape. So, if you have nothing to do each night, check in with us, and we will tell you the best ways to spend your primetime hours.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: No. 12/13 Ohio State (5-1) vs. Penn State (4-2) | 8:00-11:30pm | ABC
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

For those of you looking for a bit of old-school, smash mouth football after a day of leaf-raking and apple-picking, this Big Ten showdown should do the trick. As a proud Ohio State alumnus, I am anything but impartial, but now that freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett has become comfortable running the offense, he looks like one of the best quarterbacks in the county, even though it was against less than stellar competition. Nittany Lion Christian Hackenberg is one of the best pro-style quarterback's in the country, and should pose a challenge to the Buckeyes' shaky secondary, but I expect the Silver Bullets to show up in a big way UNDER THE LIGHTS in Happy Valley; THE Ohio State University 37, Penn State 17.

HOUSE HUNTERS RENOVATION | 10:00-11:00pm | HGTV
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

What's the next best thing to living in a luxurious dream home? Watching people live in a luxurious dream home, of course. HGTV is the television equivalent to crack, once you watch one show, you are hooked. It has something to do with the fact that they don't have commercials in between shows, so when you finally do get that break, you are already fully engrossed in the next episode. Darn you HGTV; every time I think I'm out, you pull me back in again. Tonight's HOUSE HUNTERS RENOVATION has a couple working on a house in Boston. I am sure this is going to be "wicked awesome." So don't be a "chowdahead" and watch the show, "alrights"?

HOCUS POCUS | 10:00pm-12:00am | ABC Family
By: Courtney Henley | @CourtHenley

What would Halloween be without HOCUS POCUS? The Sanderson Sisters make their annual appearance as a beloved part of ABC Family's 13 Nights of Halloween tonight. This is one of those movies never seems to get old, and everybody's got their favorite scene (Kathy Najimy riding a vacuum? Anybody? Just me?). So grab a bag of candy corn and let those witches cast their spell on you. (And now I've got "I Put a Spell on You" stuck in my head. "Gone, gone, gone...SO LONG!")
Editor's Note: Why isn't this a musical by now? Come on Sondheim, Lin-Manuel, JRB! Someone get on this, ASAP!

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE w/ Jim Carrey and Iggy Azalea | 11:35pm-1:00am | NBC
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

No, he was never a SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE cast member, but is there any performer from the past twenty years who would have been more appropriate for Studio 8H? He has had some memorable SNL moments, but I am hoping that he brings along some of IN LIVING COLOR characters this time; Fire Marshall Bill, James T. Kirk, Vera de Milo, Background Guy, Jay Leno. It's been 20 years since IN LIVING COLOR went off the air, we need something fly in our lives. Also, I have a feeling we might be getting a visit from Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne.
