Los Angeles, CA

After two years serving the New York City metro area and the eastern seaboard, The Furever Rescued Foundation announced its official move to Los Angeles, California. Founder and President, Jessica Price will continue to oversee day-to-day operation of the foundation and its sister organization, Paws of Grace. Paws of Grace is the rescue arm of the Foundation, which helps pull shelter pets and give them a second chance at life through qualified foster families and direct adoptions.

Furever Rescued Foundation is devoted to helping dog rescues and shelters around the world through fundraising and awareness of the plight of shelter dogs. The Foundation's major initiative is its yearly calendar project, which allows shelters and rescues to sell the calendar and keep half of the profit to benefit their organizations. The Foundation works with rescues and shelters worldwide, and in 2013 added rescue organizations in Greece, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil, and Indonesia to its network. In 2013, more than 100 rescue organizations participated in 48 states, and nearly $10,000 was raised to help orphaned, abandoned, and abused animals.

The calendar is more than just a collection of pretty faces or sad stories with happy endings. Rescues and shelters across the world are invited to sell copies of the calendar as a fundraiser. The vision is to provide a medium through which the stories of once homeless, abandoned or abused pets can be told, to help raise awareness for animals in need, and extend an opportunity for income generation to the organizations who wish to participate.

Price is thrilled to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of shelter pets in the Los Angeles area, and to continue working to expand the reach of Furever Rescued Foundation and Paws of Grace through future calendar sales and other initiatives.

The Furever Rescued Foundation runs and operates through generous donations of ordinary people. If you'd like to donate, you can do so via PayPal through their website at http://www.frcproject.com. The Foundation also offers animal-themed gifts like mugs, picture frames, and jewelry that are perfect for the upcoming holiday season. And, of course, the Foundation wouldn't be possible without volunteers and foster families.
