Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery to Open at Crown Center

Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery has signed on with Crown Center to open a new store by late spring. It will be located on Level 1 of the Crown Center Shops, near The Coterie.

Specializing in gourmet cupcakes and cupcake ice cream, Smallcakes has been featured on The Food Network's "Cupcake Wars," the hit daytime talk show "The View," and at the MTV Movie Awards. The wildly popular cupcakes are baked and frosted in 18 signature flavors every morning, fresh from scratch. The Crown Center location will also feature 12 signature ice cream flavors daily, created by Smallcakes founder Jeff Martin.

"We couldn't be more excited to welcome Smallcakes to Crown Center," said Greg Russell, Crown Center's Vice President of Leasing. "Their renowned success speaks for itself and we know the store will be a huge attraction for our customers."

The addition of Smallcakes is the latest step in what has been an exciting year at the Crown Center Shops. A new 60,000-square-foot Halls store opened in September, and SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza plans a March opening. In addition, several longtime Crown Center retailers have moved into new locations on the first and second levels of the shopping center.
