For Mother's Day on May 8th, La Gamelle at 241 Bowery is featuring live jazz by the Sean Clapis duo, and offering a three-course prix fixe menu from Executive Chef Denis Kuc (Gramercy Tavern, Gotham Bar & Grill). The cost of brunch is $45 and includes a champagne toast. Brunch hours are expanded for the occasion from 11am to 6pm, and the band will play from 1:30pm to 5:30pm.

Guests can choose from appetizers such as onion soup, escargots, and oysters, entrees such as steak & eggs, and eggs benedict, and a dessert tasting plate from pastry chef Richard Chirol, including a cream puff with passion sorbet, a raspberry tart and macarons.

La Gamelle's bistro aesthetic and imported French furniture combined with the elegant live jazz will transport Moms and their families to another place and time, for an unforgettable Sunday brunch.
