IRVINE, CA - Edwards Global Services, Inc. (EGS), the leading provider of services that assist U.S. franchises with global expansion, is pleased to announce that Robert Jones has joined EGS as International Managing Director.

Robert Jones has effectively facilitated the expansion of U.S. companies into global markets for over three decades. He served as a Senior Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of Commerce for 22 years, living abroad throughout the Americas and in Europe. His in-depth knowledge of foreign markets, combined with his extensive international network of private and public sector contacts, enabled him to be highly successful in facilitating the international expansion of U.S. company operations.

Previously, Robert served as Vice President for International at the International Franchise Association (IFA,) where he was responsible for sharply expanding IFA's international development opportunities for U.S. franchisors throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. Bob utilized his franchise experience to continue providing U.S. franchisors with global expansion opportunities throughout his Foreign Service career. Now Robert will focus on assisting Edwards Global Services, Inc. clients to successfully go global.
