This year's FCCLA conference theme is "Life Thru the Lens - Capture the Past, Act in the Moment & Direct in the Future". The goal of the conference is to celebrate, recognize, and communicate the value of FCCLA with programs such as Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry and FCCLA at the Table. CCA is committed to supporting FCCLA and its high school culinary programs through Family and Consumer Science across the State of Colorado.

When approached by Colorado State FCCLA Director Robert Van Dyke to become a sponsor for the 2015 STAR Culinary competition, CCA felt it would be an ideal opportunity to continue supporting high school culinary students who intend pursue careers in the culinary world. CCA is an avid supporter of professional culinary education in Colorado, including every demographic and every community.

CCA is an additional and attainable resource that joins the ranks of other respected local culinary organizations that provide formal culinary training to future chefs and future culinary educators alike. Recent high school graduates, like Ritz-Carlton employee Christian A. Smith, have been able to enter the culinary industry and begin building their careers immediately following graduation from the CCA. Colorado Culinary Academy conference participation includes:

  • Culinary Demonstrations Workshop, Friday, April 10, 2015, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
