BWW Previews: BOS KITCHEN & BAR ROOM in NYC Hosts Cabaret Performances and Stand-up Comedy This Month

'Tis the season, which means Bo's Kitchen & Bar Room in the Flatiron District is being extra generous to their guests by hosting two free cabaret performances featuring James Oblak and Tammy Spenks, as well as two stand-up comedy shows with Alan Starzinski and May Wilkerson. This modern New Orleans-inspired restaurant hits all the right notes for live entertainment.

Comic duo Alan (UCB, "Sardino") and May ("The Stand") will be dishing out the funny during Fat Mondays on Monday, December 15th and Monday, December 29th. The shows on both dates begin at 7:30 pm in Bo's subterranean lounge (dubbed Garden District) and will feature Bo's happy hour deals: sip $5 pints of beer and $7 glasses of wine while noshing on bar bites like Montauk Oysters featuring a sweet pomegranate mignonette sauce.

On Thursday, December 18th, beat the winter blues by ducking into Bo's for live performances by James and Tammy. From Broadway hits to top-40 covers (and a few of their original songs), this roaring duo will head two separate shows in Bo's sultry subterranean lounge, Garden District at 8:30 pm.

There's no cover charge, but we recommend coming to Bo's with a hearty appetite. Snack on Roasted Oysters, Andouille Po' Boy Sliders, French Quarter Fries with house-made hot sauce and sausage gravy, and the fan-favorite Crispy Alligator, featuring juicy red bell peppers and chili aioli that will sting your senses. Or cut to the chase and taste the latest seasonal craft cocktails like the Smokey Apple with mezcal, apple cider, St. Germain, lemon and honey.
