As part of a brand-wide Veterans Day initiative, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is offering a complimentary small order of Meatballs with Ricotta Cheese to any active or former United States Armed Forces personnel on Friday, November 11. In addition, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza restaurants will be dropping off complimentary lunch to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Centers in the brand's regions throughout Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza Founder & CEO Anthony Bruno said the Veterans Day event was inspired by his late father, who served in World War II and the Korean War.

"I have tremendous respect for the U.S. military and the men and women who bravely represent our country," Bruno said. "It will be an honor to serve so many veterans in our restaurants on this special day."

Anthony's fans are encouraged to share military photos of themselves or family members on social media using the hashtag #ACFPVeterans.

The Veterans Day promotion is available for both dine-in and to-go customers. Proper identification is required. One complimentary order of small meatballs per veteran.

With a focus on fresh ingredients and authentic recipes, Anthony's signature menu includes traditional and specialty pizzas with dough made daily and stretched to order; fresh coal-oven-roasted chicken wings; large homemade meatballs from a recipe passed down by Anthony's grandmother; a classic Italian salad with signature dressing; and Eggplant Marino (a favorite of NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino, an Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza partner).

The brand has been lauded by fans and media for its great food and service. Anthony's was declared "The Best Pizza Chain in America" by USA Today's Great American Bites and has been chosen Best Pizza by the Miami Herald, Miami.com, Palm Beach Post and WFLA's iHeart Tampa Bay. The brand was featured in the New York Times and has received rave reviews from Newsday.
