During Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's visit to Segerstrom Center, there will be a special bus-in performance for 2,800 Southern Californian students from grades 3 - 12 on March 28 at 10 a.m.

The one-hour performance will be moderated by one of the Ailey dancers and provide a fun and insightful look into the company's repertoire while encouraging audience involvement. The program includes excerpts from D-Man in the Waters (Part I) and Ailey's must-see American classic Revelations in its entirety.

As part of Segerstrom Center's International Dance Series, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns March 27 - 30 for an exclusive Southern California engagement.

Recognized by the U.S. Congress as a vital American "Cultural Ambassador to the World," Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is one of the most creative and inspiring dance companies in the world. Led by Ailey Artistic Director Robert Battle, this sixth visit to the Center by the Company will feature two programs that include three works never before performed on the West Coast by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater: Chroma, D-Man in the Waters (Part I) and LIFT.
