York Little Theatre (YLT) will present Disney's Peter Pan Jr. May 1-13, 8-10 and 15-17. Based on the play by J.M. Barrie, the entire family will fall in love with Disney's adaptation of the beloved 1953 animated film. The musical features Disney favorite songs such as "You Can Fly," "Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me", "Following the Leader " and "The Second Star to the Right." A cast of almost 50 kids 17 and younger will be performing this creative show filled with pirates, fairies, mermaids and more including that villain everyone loves to hate, Captain Hook. York Little Theatre is known for their lavish children's production. Broadway World.com awarded YLT's LITTLE MERMAID JR. with the Best Children's Show in Central PA last season.

Stephen File is playing the title role of Peter Pan. Wendy Darling is played by Hannah Langmead. Luke Brosie portrays Michael Darling and Jacob Schmitt rounds out the Darling family as the top hat bearing John. Milana Scechtman will fly into everyone's heart as Tinker Bell. Isabella Perez takes the stage as the very brave Tiger Lily. Noah Schmitt is the villainous Captain Hook and Noah Austin is Hook's sidekick Smee.

PETER PAN JR. is directed by T.J. Creedon. Music direction is by Jaquie Suttton. Choreography is by Donna Lynch. Stage Manager is Hillary Miller. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. on Sundays. Patrons can save $2 off regular admission price if they purchase tickets prior to opening night.
