WAITRESS Hosts Talk-Back with THE CHEW's Carla Hall and Show Pie Consultant Stacy Donnelly

Carla Hall, co-host of ABC TV's popular "The Chew" and WAITRESS's resident pie consultant and baker extraordinaire Stacy Donnelly will be the subjects of the post-show talkback, hosted by Jenna Ushkowitz and Jeremy Morse, following the performance on Wednesday evening September 21 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).

They will talk about their mutual love of baking, and discuss the upcoming segment on "The Chew" where viewers will see that cooking is not the only thing that Ms. Hall does well! The segment will air on Wednesday October 5. "The Chew" is seen nationally on ABC-TV and airs at 1 PM on WABC TV/Channel 7 in New York.

Last week, WAITRESS hosted a post show "Cast Album Karaoke" where select audience members had the chance to perform songs from the show on stage, and the previous week saw a talk back with director Diane Paulus and stars Jessie Mueller, Jenna Ushkowitz and Keala Settle. Following a sold-out limited engagement at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA, the Broadway production of WAITRESS began previews on March 25 and opened on April 24 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Based upon the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, WAITRESS is the first Broadway musical in history to have four women in the four top creative team spots, with a book by Jessie Nelson, a score by five-time Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, choreography by Lorin Latarro and direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus.

Producers have announced that the national tour of the acclaimed new musical will begin at Cleveland's Playhouse Square on October 17, 2017.

Produced by Sara Bareilles and Neal Avron, the cast album was released on DMI Soundtracks and distributed by Warner-Elektra-Atlantic Corporation.

WAITRESS was nominated for four Outer Critics' Circle Awards, including Outstanding New Broadway Musical; two Drama League Award Nominations, including Outstanding Production of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Musical; six Drama Desk Nominations, including Outstanding Musical; and four Tony Award Nominations, including Best Musical.

WAITRESS tells the story of Jenna (Jessie Mueller), an expert pie maker in a small town, who dreams of a way out of her loveless marriage. A baking contest in a nearby county and the town's new doctor (Drew Gehling) may offer her a chance at a new life, while her fellow waitresses (Jenna Ushkowitz and Keala Settle) offer their own recipes to happiness. But Jenna must find the courage and strength within herself to rebuild her life. This new American musical celebrates friendship, motherhood, and the magic of a well-made pie.
