PIXELS star Josh Gad and director Chris Columbus recently stopped by HuffPost Live for a quick interview and Q&A in anticipation of the film opening in theaters this Friday, July 24. On the program, a familiar BroadwayWorld face, our own Sally Henry, called in to ask Gad about whether or not he'd like to reprise his Tony-nominated role in a possible big screen adaptation of THE BOOK OF MORMON.

The always hilarious Gad quipped: "Does this look like the face of a 19-year-old, sweetie?"

Check out the full interview (and his answer at the halfway mark,) below!

PIXELS stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Josh Gad and Michelle Monaghan and director Chris Columbus stopped by ABC's Good Morning America to describe what it was like battling Donkey Kong and Pac-Man. Later, the film stars challenge each other for gaming supremacy. Watch the clips below!

PIXELS hits theaters on July 24th. In the film, intergalactic aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them and attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper (James) has to call on his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Sandler), now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Dinklage and Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet. Monaghan plays the team's unique weapons specialist.
