Marc Summers, legendary host of Nickelodeon's Double Dare and current Food Network star is coming to Chicago to host IMPROVISED DOUBLE DARE, an improvised comedy homage to the popular 1980s game show on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at The ComedySportz Theatre, 929 W Belmont Ave. Doors will open at 6:30pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm.

Tickets for this special performance of Improvised Double Dare will be $10 and are on sale now by calling the box office at 773-549-8080 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com. IMPROVISED DOUBLE DARE currently runs every Sunday at 7:00pm through April 27, 2014.

IMPROVISED DOUBLE DARE features CSZ House Team members Liz Anderson, Kevin Branick, Mark Campbell, Jesse Gomez, Ben Larrison, Sam Martin, Rosie Moan, and Maureen Winston. They are directed by ComedySportz Ensemble member Tim Whetham.

The TV show Double Dare was ranked #29 in TV Guide's list of the 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time. Now, watch as ComedySportz Chicago's House Team Sonic competes alongside audience members in tests of 1980s trivia, physical challenges, and improv games hosted by the Sultan of Slop Himself: Marc Summers. Participating audience members will have the opportunity to be rewarded with fabulous door prizes, just like on the TV show.

As the ComedySportz stage remains securely wrapped in bright green plastic, the Physical Challenges will get wilder, messier, and sloppier as teams compete to run the infamous and dreaded Obstacle Course.
