Last Comic Standing's Iliza Shlesinger Comes to Comix at Foxwoods Tonight
Comix At Foxwoods will host one of comedy's brightest rising stars, Iliza Shlesinger, for a weekend's worth of standup performances starting tonight, March 6. Shlesinger will perform nightly at 8 p.m. and will wrap up her stay with a special "Nasty"-themed show at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are currently available and can be purchased in advance for $25, $50 and $60. This show is for mature audiences only.

Shlesinger is the only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC'S Last Comic Standing. Most recently, her debut one hour comedy special, War Paint, reached #1 on the iTunes charts and was named one of the "Top Ten Albums of 2013" on iTunes. It is currently available on Netflix. She was also the host of CBS's syndicated comedy dating show Excused, in which she filmed 230 episodes.
Shlesinger's television credits further include TBS' Deal With It and Comedy Central Presents, as well as NBC'S Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, E! Network's Chelsea Lately and The Soup, NBC'S Last Call with Carson Daily, TBS' Who Gets the Last Laugh?, and Showtime's Pauly Shore and Friends and Bridging the Gap Comedy Festival. She is also featured in the comedy documentary I Am Comic.
Shlesinger's live stand-up résumé includes performing at the coveted Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, hundreds of clubs and colleges, and in various countries for our troops overseas. Iliza loves the troops, and was honored to participate in The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's personal USO Tour throughout the Middle East and Europe. Originally from Dallas, she moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Emerson College.
