Handel's Masterpiece Returns to Bronx Community College with Complete Orchestra, Chorus and Soloists

This seasonal favorite, famous for its dazzling solos, pyrotechnical instrumental passages and the beloved "Hallelujah chorus," will be conducted by Michael Spierman and feature four soloists, The Bronx Opera Chorus, The Orchestra of the Bronx and such friends and citizens of the Bronx as New York City Councilman AnDrew Cohen, New York State Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, New York State Senator José M. Serrano, U.S. Congressman José E. Serrano, BCC President Thomas Isekenegbe, City Island Historical Society founder Virginia M. Gallagher and Adriana Prela, a high school honors student from the Academy of Mount St, Ursula, who will recite the biblical passages that inspired the music.

This year's soloists are soprano Michelle Trovato, alto Caroline Tye, tenor Kirk Dougherty and Markel Reed, bass, This performance is open to the general public.
