Alternative witch rock act Oh, Cruel Fate! will bring A GRIMOIRE OF HORRORS II to the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre this August. The 65 minute set - described as not being for the faint hearted - features with visuals and lighting by Critical Mis.

A GRIMOIRE OF HORRORS II offers up a romantic Renaissance feast, a banquet that feeds the eye and ear. Martinique Du Toit (vocals), Louw Visagie (guitar), Alessandro Busetto (bass) and Mandisi Nkomo (drums) will take audiences on an audio-visual exploration into the depths of the macabre, carrying even the bravest into an intimate place of discomfort. The magical storytelling into the twisted minds of Oh, Cruel Fate! will be juxtaposed with projected visuals and atmospheric lighting by Miranda Moss and Chris Van Eeden.

A GRIMOIRE OF HORRORS II runs on 5 August at 21:00. Tickets cost R90-100 and can be booked online at the Alexander Bar website or purchased at the bar. For telephone bookings and enquiries, call 021 300 1652. Alexander Bar & Café is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town city centre and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
