EEK! Theatre Company, the producers of the annual "Marijuanarama!" comedy showcase, bring you an evening of sinister satire and ghoulish guffaws with "Schlocktoberfest! A Killer Komedy Show." EEK's first Halloween-themed showcase "SCHLOCKTOBERFEST!" performs for one night only on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at gorillatango.com/bucktown or by calling 773-598-4549. All performances take place at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.

What are the secret origins of Halloween? Can monsters stay on the wagon with the help of a 12 step program? How does Frankenstein deal with those giant ass neck bolts? All of these questions and more are answered in "Schlocktoberfest!" Featuring stand-up comedy by Jarrell Barnes and a burlesque performance by Chicago's own Peaches N. Cream.

About EEK! Theatre Company - Founded in 2009, the EEK! Theatre Company's goal is to bring their unique, acerbic point of view to the stage and drop the pants of American comedy. They've previously shocked, appalled, and amused audiences with their sketch comedy showcases, including the annual "Marijuanarama!" variety show. 2015 will see the release of TWO feature films from EEK!, the self-parodying I HATE THEATRE!, as well as the mockumentary "The Intervention." Producer Jeremy M. Eden has been seen highlighting his celebrity impressions as Jeff Goldblum in "Once Upon a Rom Com: The Bill Pullman Story" and as Jerry Seinfeld in "Zombie Seinfeld" (which he also directed and helped write.) He is also the writer of the burlesque parody "Holy Bouncing Boobies! A Batman Burlesque" which has been running Saturdays at Gorilla Tango Theatre for over two years.
