Comedian/Hypnotist Don Barnhart Brings Family Friendly Show to Vegas Strip

Don Barnhart, Las Vegas' only stand-up comedian who is also an award-winning hypnotist, will be performing his family friendly comedy hypnosis show September 2nd at the Kahunaville Showroom inside the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino.

Barnhart, who was recently named "Best Bet" by the Las Vegas Review Journal, has is a favorite at comedy clubs, colleges, cruise ships and corporate events around the world. He was the Grand Champion of American Idol Underground, and last year won the Talenthouse Comedy Competition. Don also specializes in Recovery Based Shows and is a favorite at high school sober grad nights, proms and lock in events.

A graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles, Barnhart will conclude his standup comedy tour, The DeEvolution of Man, shortly before his Treasure Island appearance. Barnhart has also entertained American troops in Afghanistan since 1992, and will be launching another overseas military tour this fall.

His authorial credits include the comedy book, Finding Your Funny; Freeloader; and is a contributing authorship to the anthology I Killed: True Stories from the Road From America's Funniest Comedians. He has numerous film appearances, including Finding The Funny; Reefer Rendum; and the forthcoming Tribute to Fluffy. Don can also be seen playing a psychotic mad man in the new web series Max Justice.

In addition, Barnhart has reported on the Middle East and natural disasters for CNN and iReport. Barnhart is also the son of Don Barnhart, Sr., who was a director for TV series such as Saved By The Bell, Mork and Mindy, and Full House.
